Online Dispute Resolution and Alternative Dispute Resolution
Since January 9th 2016 the EU-Regulation 524/2013 on Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) states more legal information obligations for sellers located in the EU that enter into online sales contracts. On February 1st 2017, the paragraphs 36 and 37 of the Consumer Dispute Resolution Act will come into force and will set up further information requirements for business sellers regarding the so called "Alternative Dispute Resolution".
